
Max Rykov
Max Rykov is a Ukrainian-born documentary filmmaker and multimedia artist based in Washington, D.C. since 2006. His award-winning short documentary Hindsight has screened at festivals across Europe and North America, including Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Indy Shorts, and DC/DOX.
Previously, he worked as Head Video Producer at ARTECHOUSE, collaborating with world-renowned digital artists and creating work featured by the United Nations Foundation, Pantone Color Institute, Forbes, the New York Times, and The Washington Post.

Alongside documentary film, his multi-channel video installations explore displacement, cultural memory, and the ways people adapt and endure across shifting environments.
He is currently pursuing an M.S. in journalism at Columbia University.
